What Influence Does God Have On Our World?

Trivia:

Well, the full page announcement was a prank that stated the fact that Taco Bell had purchases the Liberty Bell as a way to reduce the national debt raised quite a ruches, and certainly gained quite a bit of free press. The news core spent the rest of the next week trying to alleviate the public from the upheaval that was caused by this prank. HA!

Good job everyone, there is only one US state beginning in the letter D (Deleware). It took its name from the Delaware Bay and from their first governor (Baron DE La Warr)

New trivia to day. What is the tallest building in Chicago? Nema Chicago; Willis Tower; Aon Center; Trump International? Make your guess!!!

Challenge:

Psalm 119:89-96 “Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven. 90 Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created. 91 Your regulations remain true to this day, for everything serves your plans. 92 If your instructions hadn’t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery. 93 I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life. 94 I am yours; rescue me! For have worked had at obeying your commandments. 95 Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me, I will quietly keep my mind on your laws. 96 Every perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.”

This 12th Stanza if the very center of Psalm 119, and reintroduces a positive tone of the result that we will end up living eternally as we place our trust in God. The letter Lamedh, imply’s a sense of permanence to those who stand firmly on His words & promises.

Today let’s place our attention on verse 96 “Even perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.” Let’s just stop to ponder this statement, OK? Even the most perfect person or thing in the whole world has its limits; but there is not one command that is written in this book that isn’t limitless.

In order to understand the extent of the limitlessness of God’s words, the writer places for us a list of ways that we can become confident in its message:

vs. 89 these words found written if the Bible are firmly upheld by the furthest extent of the heavens (there is no end to it) in all of our scientific research no one, nation, or even telescope has reached to the end of the heavens.

vs. 90 Every generation from the beginning of time have found that the Bible is accurate in all of its satements

vs. 90b Even this creation that we live in the middle of, has not been able to out maneuver the earth

vs. 91 Every regulating force in the entire universe must recognize His loving plans of love for us (eternal salvation)

Why not continue to read and meditate on these next verses and fill these continuing reasons that we can be confident in our Savior’s gift to us?

Vs. 92 ________________________________________________

Vs. 93 ________________________________________________

Vs. 94 ________________________________________________

Vs. 95 ________________________________________________

Vs. 96 ________________________________________________

SO GO WITH GOD for as the last verse in this stanza puts it “Your commands (truths) have no limit.”

Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord. Why not joy in this truth by listening to Morris Chapman as he leads in our thoughts in these words on You Tube (Blessed Be) The name of the Lord.
